Hi I am Jess, its wonderful to meet you here…
I’ve been practicing movement, asana, meditation, and mindfulness since I was 24.
It wasn’t peace or clarity that led me to yoga…it was confusion, heartbreak, and a handful of self-destructive habits. I still remember the first class that changed everything. For the first time, I looked in the mirror after practice and actually saw all parts of myself, staring back with love and with compassion.
My first teaching opportunity arrived at another crossroads…navigating divorce and questioning my career. The moment I began teaching. I felt completely alive, purposeful, and deeply connected, and I’ve never looked back.
Over the years, this practice has been my compass. It’s helped me raise my children, build a life that feels both sustainable and meaningful, and find forgiveness, for myself and others. It’s taught me how to soften and how to love more fiercely.
From that lived experience, I created the Yoganica Embodied Flow method, a practice that weaves energetic movement, somatics, and Kundalini kriya to bring a deeper dimension of wholeness to yoga. It’s not about flexibility or complicated poses. It’s about remembering and feeling into the most intimate parts of yourself and feeling at ease in your body and in your mind.
I’m an educator of movement and breath, guided by a deep respect for yoga, Buddhist philosophy, and psychology. My work now is about creating community through — classes, retreats, and experiences—that help people come home to themselves, just as I did.
When we meet on the mat,. I’m here to support and guide you though your practice and your unique expereince as you rediscover the parts of yourself you may have forgotten. Because this practice—when it’s embodied—can be so much more than movement. It can be the medicine that brings you home.
